VETTING INFORMATION
We will be using standard AERA vetting with heart rates 55 BPM after the first leg and 60 BPM for the second leg in the 84km ride.
All other rides will be 55 BPM.
Early vetting will be allowed – but be aware you only have one chance at vetting so if your horses heart rate is over it will be a vet out.
Priority will be given to horses that are on their 30 minutes.

ELECTRONIC TIMING SYSTEM INFORMATION
All rides across the weekend will be utilising the ETS.
You will have a lanyard attached to your bib that you are given when you complete your entry.  You need to wear this during your ride and should tuck it into the bib pocket so it doesn’t flap around, and so it doesn’t accidently get lost.

You do not need to scan the card at the start of your ride, but when you return to base from your ride, you will scan at the in-time tent and you will be given a ticket.
It is the rider’s responsibility to read the ticket each time and action if necessary.

This ticket will give you the time that you must present to the vet by – 30 minutes from when you arrive back at base.  There will be early vetting, but you must ensure that you present before the time on the ticket.  When you are ready to present to the vets, you will scan the card again and then proceed to the TPRs and vets.

Sunday riders - Please ensure that you bring your bib/lanyard to pre-ride Saturday night so you are able to scan and ensure that all your entry details are correct.  If you scan and they are not correct, then you must see the office ladies so this can be rectified in AERASPACE before the start of the ride.

At the end of No.1 Feeder you will be turned left onto Boundary/Trangs trail a beautiful undulating track of about 7kms. At the end of Trangs you will be turning right and start heading up Kinds Road, where you will have your second checkpoint.  Kinds Road then turns into Dilly Dally Road and this track is a little harder underfoot and is undulating to hilly, and is about 8kms.  At the top of Dilly Dally you will turn right and then a quick left into Baldy's track for 2kms, this track is nice underfoot and there is one step short hill at the end of it and then you will be turning hard right into Heart Attack Trail.  This next 3.2km is probably the most washed out, so please be careful.  After 3.2kms you will turn left onto Frober Ridge Trail, which is quiet hilly for about 4.5km.  At the end of this trail you will turn right onto Howards and follow this for about 1km and then come to your third and final checkpoint.  You will turn left onto Willagelong Road and follow this to the T intersection and turn right onto Tea Tree Road and start heading back to base.  After 1km you will be turn left into Gate Trail for about 800ms and then it changes to Boundary Trail for another 800ms.  You will then turn right into No.1 Feeder and follow for 1.5kms.  Then you will turn right and then a quick right and then about 100ms along you will turn left into Widows Trail which you will travel for approx 2.5kms before returning to ride base.

84kms Leg Two and 40km Intermediate - will follow BLACK and PURPLE arrows
Leaving ride base you will turn right onto Quartpot Road and follow for about 1km and then turn left into Custard Creek Trail which has some washouts to look out for, and one decent hill.  You will then turn left onto Boundary for about 200ms and then turn right and another right onto No.1 Feeder for about another 200ms and then turning right into No.2 Feeder for 1.2 kms and then turn hard right onto Roseberg Road for 2.2kms.  Then turning left and following one of the motorbike tracks through the pines.  Turn left onto Murphys Road which is beautiful underfoot and follow for about 2kms and then head left for 600ms and then turning right onto Wild Cherry Trail another beautiful pine forest track, at the T intersection you will turn right and head down No. 1 Feeder to the first Checkpoint.  At the next T intersection you will turn left onto Tea Tree Road for about 300ms and turn right into Willagelong Road for  3kms and then turning right into Howards Road.  After about 1.5kms this turns into Baldys Trail where this is a step short rocky downhill section.  At the end of Baldys you will turn right and zig zag through some beautiful pine forest tracks for about 8.5kms which are mostly very good underfoot and undulating, there will many turns throughout this part, so pay attention to arrows and crosses!  You will then arrive at your final checkpoint and turn right and then left and follow Trangs/Boundary Trails for 7kms.  You will then turn left into Custard Creek Trail to the T intersection and then right onto Quartpot Road for the 1km back to base.
**PLEASE BE AWARE QUARTPOT ROAD CAN BE A BUSY ROAD AND SORT OUT PLACINGS IN THIS 1KM STRETCH**

20km Introductory - Will follow BLUE and PURPLE arrows
