Wunderful Widgee Endurance Ride offers 20km and 40 km rides on Saturday 2nd October and 80 km and 40 km rides on Sunday 3rd October. There is also a 2km ride on Saturday. And this is the last event in the Jackson Brown Series.

This is our first ride on the QERA Calendar since 2015 and we welcome all riders back to experience the great environment that Widgee offers.

The Showgrounds have adequate showers and toilets for campers.

The Bushman's Bar, managed by the local community, will be catering on Friday night and Saturday night offering porterhouse steak, rib fillet steak or barramundi , all served with chips, followed by desert of chocolate pudding and ice cream.  We would like to provide advice to the Bushman's Bar of numbers so please provide a number of dinners required for Friday night and Saturday night.  Money for dinners will be paid directly to the Bushman's Bar. 

Kindy Kilkivan parents will be on site on Saturday to provide a range of foods for morning tea,  lunch and afternoon tea.

Widgee P&C will be catering on Sunday for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

The Coffee Crew will be on site from Friday afternoon.

The 20 km track is all road verges with a steep climb to be done at the walk.  There will be a pace rider to be followed at all times.
The 40 km track is roadside verges and forest tracks and may be concussive due to recent dry conditions.  The same 40 km track will be done twice for the 80 km ride.

8.30 am           Nominations commence

10.00 am         Vetting commences 

12.30 pm         Pre-ride talk for 40 km and 20 km events

1.00 pm           40 km ride starts

1.30 pm           20 km ride starts

6.30 pm           Vet ring closes

6.30 pm           Pre-ride talk for Sunday events.

 

Note that start time for 2 km ride will be determined on the day.
