There will be a coffee van available – Cravings Coffee and Ice Cream. Biggenden also has a local Service Station (BP), FoodWorks, feed store, hardware, butcher, mechanic, chemist and two great pubs. All this is in walking distance from the Showgrounds.

Track
A good track offering variety and good terrain with the usual number of volunteers to open the gates for all. We have estimated that there is a friendly person to say “hi” every 5km. Work that out over a course and that is a lot of “hellos”. Water points at least every 10km. There is plenty of wet spots along the track offering good feed for horses to munch on to keep those gut sounds healthy. Definitely no smoking on track. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and in control by the handler at all times. Fires must be kept in fire pits about ground.
Ride Program
80km Ride – Saturday 1st October – 2pm Start
Minimum ride time for novice horse/riders 6 hours (3 hours per leg)
7:00pm All riders must be off the first leg to be able to start the 2nd leg
Midnight course closes
Best conditioned: Eligible competitors will be advised by chief steward and will be held approximately 1 hours after completion
40km Ride – Saturday 1st October – 2:30pm Start
Minimum ride time of 3 hours
20km Ride – Saturday 1st October – 3:00pm Start
Minimum ride time of 2 hours
PRESENTATIONS & RAFFLE – Sunday 2nd October – 8:30am
This is an early time for all to be up and packing up their camp in preparation to leave for home. We ask that you all are prompt to come to presentation as the Biggenden Club Committee work very hard to ensure all log books and presentation of prizes and awards are ready to go at this time.
If you need to leave before presentations, please leave $5 at the secretary’s office so logbooks can be posted to you.
